ABOUT THE SERIES

Yukon audiences will have the enjoyment of hearing a variety of music performed by musicians from their own community and from across Canada through performances held at Yukon Arts Centre and "in The Pit" located in the foyer of Yukon College. These performances are free to the public.

Sunday July 19 - Faculty Showcase

Enjoy an afternoon concert featuring a star-studded lineup of our visiting guest instructors: Danish guitar virtuoso Mikkel Andersen, Vancouver Symphony violinist Sam Milner, Juno-Award winning cellist Sebastian Ostertag, and Edmonton Opera star Ron Long! Admission is by donation at the door, limited seating.

Monday July 20 - Wesley Hardisty & Friends

Our Noon Hour Concert series kicks off with internationally acclaimed fiddler Wesley Hardisty, joined by Andy Slade! Head to the Yukon U pit and experience fiddle music like you've never heard it before, with a performance featuring Northern favorites, original compositions and everything in between.
