Trumpet Masterclass

Trumpet players: prepare for the most useful learning tool for brass performers... the masterclass!

Nothing gets the nerves going like performing solo in front of our peers, but take hope! This is also the way to overcome these very same nerves and find the freedom to perform beautiful sounds on this ancient and profoundly magical instrument. 

We'll work together in a supportive environment to see the trumpet from both ends; as player and as audience, and to learn from these two perspectives. Our peers may point out things we have never noticed about our playing. Once it's pointed out, it can't be unheard, and our playing becomes more mature. This is the power of the masterclass!

Requirements: Experience on trumpet (beyond-beginners and up welcome) and 2-3 short solo pieces performance-ready
