Testing. Testing. Is this thing on? 

In the classroom, we'll explore the basics of microphones, cables, mixing boards, and speakers. We'll learn about set-up and signal flow. Then we'll put our skills to work in real live music situations as the tech team for the daily lunchtime shows in the Pit - a thorough overview of sound equipment for techies and performers. Through theory and practicums, you will gain a solid knowledge of what equipment you need, how to set it up, and gain the skills to help “run” sound.

 

Requirements: Age 13+ yrs. No experience necessary.
