Intro to Music Theory

Have you ever wondered why music works the way it does? Why does it make us feel a certain way? Why does it seem like some people can pick up an instrument and just... play? The study of music theory can help to answer some of these questions and can open doors to some of the most fascinating concepts art has to offer. This course introduces the fundamental concepts of music theory including basic notation, keys, chords, and melody. This is a Beginner Class geared towards those who do not know how to read music, however students may find having some prior experience on an instrument will be helpful in diving into these concepts.
